30 Days of whole-30 recipes


Every year in January I do a Whole-30. I’ve been doing this for about 5 years mainly because I feel like I need a little reminder of what self-control feels like after a month of holiday eating. In the past I have just made meals that I knew were comprised of Whole-30 ingredients. But this year I decided to branch out & try some new things.

Even though I’m a recipe creator, I get stuck in ruts with my cooking, mostly due to time constraints. It’s easy to keep cooking the same meals over & over because they are quick & it doesn’t take a lot of planning. But this year I not only wanted to reign in the holiday eating & be fully mindful of what I’m putting in my mouth but I wanted to challenge myself to plan different meals than my usual.

I thought I would share my Whole-30 menu plan with you & hopefully you’ll find it helpful. It has a lot of quick & easy meals on it because, well, life. But it also has a few that will take a little planning & preparation. I hope you enjoy your Whole-30 & keep in mind that this isn’t a diet, it’s a way of life that involves whole food based nutrition.

And for those days when I am on the go & need a snack to take with me, I’ll plan on keeping these EPIC bars on hand + this amazing collagen protein which mixes easily into anything!
