Maple Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies were inspired by a gluten-free cookie I got from this great little shop in Waco, Texas. I love to frequent this place wheneverI can because they make the best, prepared foods, desserts & kombucha using local ingredients. If you live anywhere near it, you should check it out!

Anyway, I wanted a grain-free version that I could have anytime I wanted to make it, so I set out to re-create it at home. And let me tell you, this cookie is irresistible. It has a classic, chocolate chip cookie flavor, with wholesome ingredients. And my kids don’t like nuts in cookies which makes my husband & I very happy because these are not gobbled up by the munchkins.
